Gotong Royong Gotong Royong Day is an official school day. All students must come to school as usual but the school will dismiss at 1.00 pm. On that day, Muslim students and teachers went to Jalan Masjid Negeri Mosque for some arranged activities while the non-Muslim stayed in school to help clean their classes and attend moral talks.

Pn Poomani distributing seeds to teachers A mini butterfly farm project initiated by a group of teachers headed by Pn. Poomani has earned the respect of all teachers in Penang Free School. The project was so successful that the school needs the help of all teachers to plant a special plant that butterflies likes to eat! Seeds of the plant are being distributed to all teachers who will take them back to germinate and bring back the seedlings to be planted in school. This in the very first eco-friendly project that the school has taken. A step closer to a more environment friendly awareness. Great job! Pn. Poomani and teachers. 15 Feb 2012
